I was wondering on average how many TFL's a DT should have through a season? Anybody know?

There are so many variables that go into that though like your level the opposing team's levels, etc.

Thats what I was afraid of. How bout this...What would be a good number of TFL's to have in a season going up against competition the same level as the your player.

My guy has 20. We have played a few gutted teams, but he still has a lot against really good teams.

I added up my TFL's and through 14 games 31 out of 47 of my tackles are TFL's. 2/3 of my tackles are for a loss. Not bad.

That means you are dominating your opposition. I would kill for those numbers.

i think there're too many variable to say a specific number is good/great/mediocre...
still, 2/3 is a terrific ratio.

All it takes for a DT is strength and agility, other than speed, those are the only attributes Ive put SP's in.

22.7 in tackling and yet to miss a tackle. Does tackling generally relate to your diving tackle numbers (which would, otherwise, not be considered a miss), forced fumbles, and turning hurries into sacks? The wrap-up tackling issue is being addressed soon, but I am curious as to why such low tackling can still result in dominance.

strength, agility, & vision play a big role in tackling. DL can get away with lower tackling because their support (re: tackling) skills are so high.

2/3 ratio is damn good. Mine had 7 last game against pretty even competition, but it was D league so it doesn't really matter much.

Your stats are all padded. Your level 16 playing 10's and 12's. Against equal level opposition your stats would be cut by like 60%.

i'll buy 60%. my L16 DT(NT) has been outmatched all season, going against OL 4-7 levels higher every game. that is, until last game where the majority of the time i went against a level 9 G (and level 21 C)
first 13 games: 14 tackles, 2 TFL
last game: 6 tackles, 5 TFL
