Lets start talking play offs here. Now the top 8 in West are already set, neither can get out of the playoffs. Now all there is left to fight about are placement. Lets take a look at the top 8 in west:
Western Conference Standings
Team Record Streak
1 Honolulu Bulls 14-0-0 W14
2 Dodge City Six Shooters 12-2-0 W5
3 Houston Toros 11-3-0 W1
4 Compton Vikings 10-4-0 L3
5 Bayou Bengals 10-4-0 L1
6 FantasyFanbase All-Stars 9-5-0 L1
7 Philadelphia Fighters 9-5-0 W1
8 Blitzburg Musclefrogs 9-5-0 W3
Bulls: Even if they loss their next two games, they are set as the nr. 1 seed due to having beat SixShooters.
SixShooters: Having to meet the bottom team in the West and the 6-8 Ashville Posse in their final two weeks makes an easy road to the second seed for the gunslinging Dodge City.
Toros: Having lost to the Bengals in week 13 really hurt the Toro's chances at advancing further up the playoff ladder. The next two away games against USB and the Steel Curtain will be crucial if the Toro's want to stay clear of the Bulls until late in teh playoffs. They are looking to keep their 3rd seed.
Vikings: With a realitively easy game coming up against the sharp shooters, vikings are looking towards the final game, home vs. Minnesota Purple, to decide their spot in the playoffs. If the Vikings come out big and defeats the Purple Rain, they will be in place as the 4/5th seed.
Bayou: Their loss to Farkistan in week 14 and having to face the Battalion, a keen playoff contender from East, in the last week, is hurting their chances to avoid the Bulls until game 3 in the playoffs.Right now they are fighthing to get that homefield advantage in game 1. A battle against the Vikings.
All-stars: Being 9-5 and only having lost to teams above them in the league, the FF are looking to keep the Fighters and Frogs away from the 6th spot. Their next game against the Frogs will be the battle for the "good" spot in the playoffs. Their last game against NY should not pose a threat to this team.
Philadelphia: The second of the three 9-5 teams in the West. They have a easy schedule ahead of them and are looking for nothing but W's. Having lost to All-stars and won over the Frogs, they are still in the race.
MuscleFrogs: My favorite team in this league (besides my team) and they are looking good being on a 3W streak going into the game against the All-stars. Having lost to Fighters, they need the win against FF to keep them out of the 8th spot and away from the Bulls. Their last game against the Night Marchers should be a W.
Im going to take a wild guess and say that we will se the battle of beef in the conference final here. But Dodge City is going to be a real tough opponent to the Toros. So its either Bulls vs Toros or Bulls vs Six Shooters. I dont see any of the last 3 stopping the Bulls in the first game, but Vikings and Bengals stand a shot at the conference game if they find a way to tame the Bulls.
