Hey guys, DC for Apollos here. My first time contributing to these forums and I was wondering if you do pro bowl voting, if so when?

We attempt to do all-conference team honors... although, I'm not in-charge of it, I only try to help.

Like I had mentioned, and people seemed to support, I was going to do one for each conference. When they get done depends on the Comets playoff status. If players, owners, or GMs want to PM me and nominate players from their team so I dont overlook someone that'd be cool. I'd still also vote in a league wide thing if everyone wanted to do that instead though.

I personally think that if we are going to do that, it should be the Owners/GM's sending their votes to one person to tally. And the owners/gms can't nominate a player from their own team. Just my personal opinion.

a nomination is different than a vote.

my high school program works like this:
you can nominate X amount of players from offence and defence.

then later the Coaches vote on the Best players per position, most votes gets first team, second gets 2nd team, and everyone else gets honorable mention.

I tried to have the owners vote, and it just doesnt work out all that well. I only got 7 owners from the West to vote..

Ya, we only had 9 guys from the east end up voting last year I believe. Champ Berry wins GLB player of the decade.

Well i think voting was flawed to begin with. You couldn't submit players on your own squad, and you had a huge list to pick from.

Solution is to gather a team of say 4 people, 2 per conference, and each of them puts out a list that sends it to a 5th person. The 5th person would put out the list in a PM of people you can vote for per conference. The 4 people should remain anonymous so people can't call out favortism and the 4 people should not know who each other are either. The challange in this if finding the 5th person who will pick out the 4 people and send out the list and send it out to each owner.

Just an idea being thrown out there.

no it's just bragging rights withing the league, unless people check here they'll never know that you got it.

i still suggest a nomination coming from teams.
a nomination of players.
then you vote on the nominations.
