I miss this website! Hope you guys are still having fun! I know a lot of people are getting tired of the game! But I hope someday the simulations are as good as Madden's! It sure makes it more fun when you have analysis that is this in depth! Good luck making the playoffs everyone!

Our GM's don't do shit, the forum is dead, it has 7 threads total in 2 seasons, I can't wait till my contract runs out.

Is your owner even active? If he's gone for more than 2 weeks, I believe Bort and company repo the team. And as far as the GM's go, they may not be able to do anything if the owner failed to give them permission to change stuff.

Yeah "active" as is logs in. The team is literally, not figuratively, but literally owned and "run" by a bunch of high school sophomores whose excuse as to why they can even come up with a game plan is because "we are still in school so we don't have all the time in the world to do this", which is a legit reason, but at least do something like "we are going to run this game so everyone put your tactics on run block" or something like that. We are left in the dark.

You point out this is summer vacation? I sure am glad I'm just working for a living and can find the time to log in and play

I find it hard to believe they can't do so much as spend 30 minutes to come up with a gameplan. If they're so busy and stressed due to all of the hardships of high school, what were they thinking buying a team? It says right when you purchase it that it's a significant time commitment.

It sucks when the owner isn't as involved as some of the players. You don't have to spend hours a day doing this but it takes some time. We were fortunate enough to get bought by an active owner when the last owner bailed and sold off the players. It's taken some time to build back up and its hard to sign players when they see 1-15 and 3-11 records. There should be a way for players on a team (if its a majority) to file a complaint with admin or at least to allow themselves to be released and find better situations for their level of activity. Only if the owner is inactive not just because their not winning and don't like it. We could certainly use a few of your players. Hope it gets better, when your contract runs out we'd love to have you, should be contending by then, hopefully!

Well its summer vacation at the moment.

I know I spent close to 110 hours a week on school work for the last year but I managed to scout for Portland pretty well

Their all from Hawaii(shocking I know) so I don't know their actual school year time frame. I know some regions of the country start and end school in different months, they're not all the same, so they could be school for all I know but I doubt it.

I think they really are. Right when I signed with the team the owner said "hi, where you from" and said they all are in high school and know each other. And they've been pretty consistent with their story so, I don't think they're lying about being in high school.

I'm with you too Monster. I hate playing on this team. 808 is the only GM doing anything and I don't think our owner has even logged in for weeks. I still have 2 years left on my contract though. I want to be traded so bad right now.

It's fine if their in HS and don't have the time, but then sell the team or something like that to someone who has the time.

Or at the very least, give some GMs the ability to adjust tactics, sign/release/trade players, and so on. If they can't be bothered to do it, they should get someone who has the time for it.

I agree. It is only going to get worse as the game rolls along. It is certain that some folks will just lose interest and not log on anymore without giving any thought to the guys stuck on their roster.
