I skipped week 12, sorry, and DISCLAIMER, I am not thrilled with how my rankings are going in this league. The disparity is obvious. The only thing I can say, especially to Las Vegas Heat (NO DISRESPECT) but the only thing I can say is win by more, at least for my rankings to do well. Average margin of victory is the most heavily weighted part of my formula. Sorry again to Las Vegas Heat!

Winning percentage is another %20, and the sum of your largest margin of victory and lowest lost. Now that I'm looking at this, I think I need to find the lowest victory number you have. I'm not sure, I'll poke around with it and see how much it shifts the rankings.

so your saying you rankings are worthless, why waste your time?

Strength of Schedule/Wins/Losses is another idea.

yeah strength of schedule is pretty important.. and actually not very tough to add.

just start with what you have already and do another iteration using the list of teams each team has played and their respective power rankings.

you can do 1 additional iteration of the same thing to smooth out the rankings more.

oh and for a bit more realism, more recent games should be weighed more heavily.

It's a lot harder than it sounds, trust me on that. I'm probably going to have to divulge some VBA into my excel and I'm not looking forward to that.

I am pretty sure we are just a bit to high up in the rankings here.

with so few cross-over games strength of schedule won't make that much difference
