I made a level 1 DE who was 6'5" 272 lbs. He had 15 speed, 15 Strength, 15 vision, 15 stamina, and 19 agility. He had 1 PD in his first ever game. It wasn't a screen or anything like that, either.
Whew, sure glad the sim takes this into account, I just started a DT that is going to get jumping to the soft cap asap, glad to see it might actually do something.

Jumping to Softcap ASAP?
getting jumping to the soft cap would be cool but I dont think it would matter as much as you'd be getting pancaked
I am very much interested in how this works out. I do not think this would, but it would help a lot of us with out builds (as we need to consider training in this or adding marginal gains to the core attributes).

I hope you intend that player to be an experiment. Wouldn't put any FP into him unless it works the way you hope it will. I had the same idea but talked myself out of it. Get strength up there first, or you'll be on your arse the whole game. I guess you could do strength/jumping instead of strength/agility.
And I don't think its so much jumping as it is vision (possibly combination of the two). I'm sure there aren't many DT out there with vision 40+.

DE's get them a lot more because of the swing passes out to the flats.
