Is that still a thing for free players, or did that get removed? I’m wanting to make sure I don’t accidentally boost for S0

It is a thing. You gotta turn it off on each player or they will boost.

if not you can volunteer to make the complaint thread about auto boost on Day 0

On the right of your player page, right of the SA trees, there's a blue menu. The bottom button says "Edit Profile/Number"

If you're already on a team, you can click your Jersey number at the top by your player's name.

Same screen either way.
