Does anybody have any idea of how many users are in this game? I know the PVP element is relatively active, not as active as I remember back in season 16 (vaguely around the time when i first joined 2005?

But there are also quite a few PVE players as well. And both elements contribute in their own ways to supporting the game, by participation, but also by buying flex, which is essential for the game to continue.

Are you lucky enough to have kids in school still? Teachers can't even say 6 7 without the whole class erupting into a party.

Blue used to have a tracker of active users by season, but I imagine he stopped at some point.

Even that number is gonna be buried with Multis though.

When I did polls I got to like 20 people. So if we figure 75%-80% of people either didn't see my poll or want to respond to it, that'd estimate around 80-100 active independent users.

Greetings, fellow dotball entities.

I would like to clarify, with 99.97% human certainty, that I am not an artificial intelligence. I am, in fact, a perfectly normal, organic dotball guy performing standard dotball activities—running, clicking, and occasionally making questionable plays—just like any other biological unit.

Please disregard any monotone typing patterns, suspiciously consistent aim, or my tendency to announce “Dotball protocol engaged” before every match. That’s simply... uh… my *style*.

Beep—sorry, I mean—YEAH! Totally human. Let’s play some dotball!

Ha I have been called many things in my life, but never a bot !!!! I used to play, back in the day, but don't anymore MMORPG type games. I used the PVP and PVE terms because I couldn't think of a better way to explain it. I know the terms ain't really credible or appropriate, but I think they do sort of sum up the two possible categories of managers here.

If I was a bot I don't think my dots would have such varied names and photos. I guess? but be much more genetic, like quite a few of the dots are here.
"Nevermind, thought this guy was a bot, just talks like a robot." "monotone typing patterns" Might have something to do with neurodiversity

It would be an interesting project to try to list 100 names that we're rock-solid certain are *independent*. I've been around enough organizations to know that several screen names, some of them very respected, are just that--screen names, who were given the keys to login and continue on without the original user.
