The math I have is :
Advanced Store refresh (3 bt) get +5% Bonus EQ (19 bt) add +3 Atty (50 bt) add +6 Atty (180 bt) = 249 bt

Same piece on Build EQ = 305 bt

Opinions? Preferences? Buy 1 or 2 and refresh on the other(s)?

Certain positions have lots of options for pieces looking to acquire, thus you shop.

Some positions have limited options or a desired piece rarely if ever appears, thus you buy outright. For instance, buy RQB AE 100% of the time, never shop as viable options basically don't even appear!

Other than RQB, what other positions would recommend buying outright as opposed to shopping?

LBs have shitty SAs so they NEED to have the right AEQ....You may have to settle for3 pieces for them as long as theyre right for the build/purpose

PHB's are partial shop or outright buy as another example...

I find CBs are tough to shop for, as they get a lot of offensive gear since they can double as KR/PR.

Always shop first tho, even if you plan to buy some pieces outright. You don't want to buy your Make Tackle % piece and then the first shop roll has a +3 Speed, +5% Make Tackle piece and you only wanted 1 piece of Make Tackle
