Win a lot the first 4 seasons then hopefully be at least average or better, or never have a chance at competing for tourney and league titles early and then foot stomping the early boosters season 5 and on. The front 5/late 5 boost needs to go. Just dumb.

well lets hope you beat the early boosters later on, I can tell you it isnt easy. Very small margin of difference between boosted or not.

I go slow build, but thats because i love being beaten to death.

The game has options on how to play it. Make a choice and live with it.

IF I choose not to boost the first season and get beaten on the way up, that's MY choice.

Seems like you're having issues either way, can't help with that.

Agreed completely. They serve no purpose besides making the minors a shit-hole with 10 level gaps.

I also think it's quite silly to have the choice. But this is, after all, a mmorpg, the infinite carrot on a stick challenge to keep us all playing and trying new things.

it has always been this way, except it was only 3 levels vs 5

so it is more noticeable

and in rookie you have the rookie trophy chasers which makes season 1 very different than seasons 2-4 in the minors

the 4th season Miami won the tournament and was runner up in the league despite being a late booster so for season 4 teams can still compete

People used to care about not ultra sandbag boosting since you lose out on VA's. Only very very very few users skipped s0 boosts and did late boosts every season after. I know RC and a few others were experimenting with it at the very end before the dotpoc.

Old minors were effectively a 3 level gap. New minors is a 10 level gap since people skip s0 boosts now (or should) knowing they get catch-up boosts at the end.

by the time playoffs roll around the level difference should be only 5

almost had it, gotta be quicker than that.
