Around 100 SP if you want some 9s and 10s. Just figure out what you want and add up the costs.

Around day/age 175 I generally stop multi training and switch to light for BT's. Depends totally on how my shopping trips went and how efficient I was at the start with BT collecting and spending. Generally, right before that age I get out the calculator and see how many BT's I need to get everything filled up. Why I'm saying this is because it relates to SP spending as well. Once you switch over, the need to spend SP's to hit caps dwindles a lot since you're only training one skill at a time and, with light training, not nearly as fast rising in skill numbers. By this time, ALG's are doing almost ALL the heavy lifting for your main skills and your light training is working on things like Confidence (to level 40) and Stamina and maybe another, non-addressed, fringe skill. So spending SP's to raise a skill, at this point in your build, is about watching carefully as each level up adds ALG's to raise a skill higher. Once I can cap a skill by only using 1 time SP boost to it, then I >might< do that... if I really need to. Usually I don't. So all SP's tend to get saved much more and by the time the dot hits around age 65, I stop spending SP's altogether. This normally ends me around 90-120 or more SP's. It varies on what kind of dot it is and just how many SA's I want to fill and how high the SA's are in the SA tree... and did I get any SA based AEQ. All of this will tell you how many SP's you need to reach your final goals. And don't forget topping off any skills (like stamina) that will also use SP's.
(edit) Quick examples;
I have 3 dots at age 70 that will be 79 next season. Here's their status.
Kicker has only 26 SP's saved because his skills are pretty much done as far as spending SP's in them goes. That only leaves me SA's and kickers have only 3 so I don't need a ton of SP's for him. Plus his AEQ is mostly all SA based so I also get the benefit of those as well. 26+54 (54 being the remaining SP's he'll get from boosts)=80 Sp's at the end... which is MORE than enough to play with.
The QB, on the other hand, has 46 SP's. Sadly, this is less than I wanted at this point... but not a killer. Was shooting for 50-60. 46+54=100 SP's to work with so I'll be doing extra planning to where I put those. Again, luckily, I have my AEQ that's helping in one of my [important] SA's so I won't need as many SP's to raise that up to 10.
Hope this helps ya.

Have you spent any SP into SA's for your QB yet...or just points from custom EQ and AEQ currently?
