My team is the other squad in the finals and we only beat our CPU semi final opponent by 1.

People always forget, the penalty for having more than 10 CPU dots on a team only applies to HUMAN-OWNED teams. CPU-OWNED teams don't get that penalty, so their CPU dots scale up to the league average with no penalty.

People also forget that when a team gets sold, the AIs and Packages for that team stay in place until a new human owner buys the team. So if the team had great AIs in place when they were human-owned, they'll still have great AIs in place while they're CPU-owned.

But that also means this: if you scout the CPU-owned team, you will know EXACTLY what they're gonna do on offense and defense. Smart team owners will take the time to scout the CPU team, figure out yheir gameplan, and build their own gameplan that is perfectly designed to attack what the CPU team will do. Stupid team owners will go HERP DERP CPU TEAM AUTO-WIN DERP, do zero scouting and gameplanning, watch in shock and horror as they lose 27-13, and then whime about overpowered CPU dots in the forums.

Not all gutted-roster teams are the same. A human-owned team with 45 CPU dots will lose every game by 200. A CPU-owned team with 45 CPU dots will play much better and occasionally steal a win if you don't take them seriously. Plan accordingly.

Pepperridge farms remembers and so did I... I just got him a trophy instead of starting a thread about losing the championship to a CPU team.
