What has changed in the last 5 years? I logged in for the hell of it and realized i have 67000 Flex and figured i would play again.

Honestly not a whole lot. And you signed in at the perfect time, off-season just started so you can build some players for season 79.

Well, TBH, many split for GLB2... then got frustrated and left there as well. GLB2 is even deader than here anymore. I get WG's idea to simply make a new GLB game with many of the features we wanted here... easier to code from scratch than to try and keep patching up things here. But they went too far, IMO. There are features here (which we love and is the reason we stay) that don't exist there... and features there I wish existed here. In the end, it divided the base and neither side was happy in the end.
