When you have opportunities to upgrade CEQ at levels 32, 56, and 72, these options cost flex, but they are not included in refundable flex when you retire your player. For instance, if you have LB with CEQ in +6 speed and the pass rusher tree, at level 32, you have the option to add something like +3% Make Tackle. This would cost flex, but it not part of the 70% refunded on retirement.

That is why these upgrades are the best option to spend reward points since by their definition, reward points are not eligible for the 70% rebate on retirement. May as well use them on something that is already restricted from that rebate.

Why ask for proof of an answer when you get one. This isn't any scientific paper that needs citation. Lack of thanks for the answer is also not cool. How about you look in the FAQ's or the wiki first before asking for a cite.

use RP on non-refundable items like team scrims, and the above mentioned ceq bonuses. no sense wasting FP on things with 0% refund value.
