Fwiw... I'm trying one at minimum weight this season. I want to check the speed difference between 210 and 260.

I doubt that anyone else will tell you anything other than 259 or 260.

Basically the "Power Through" and "Lower the Shoulder" SAs read in such a way that implies being heavier is important in their ability to fire.

If you plan to rely on these two moves as a means of breaking tackles, then 259 or 260 make the most sense.

What is the benefit of going 259?

It enables you to 1st cap your first attribute before boosting without using BT, or at least I'm pretty sure that is the goal.

I have literally the best powerback of all time and he's 5'11" 215.

wrong, it allows you to save points at some caps like 67.9 only costs 3 points as opposed to 68 costing 4, other than that no benefit

That isn't true, I saw a guide surrounding this idea lingering somewhere, so while you may not know it, doesn't mean it isn't accurate.

As far as caps like 67.9, that is way outside of my wheel-house.

I know you are wrong, while you may not know it, I do, going with a lower weight does not lower he points you need for a first cap, lurn 2 billd

Actually stoned beaver if the guide that you referred to is the one that JD did 7steel is correct. Taking a dots weight down 1 lb does not allow you to hit that first cap on the attr without using bt's to do it, you still have to use 15 bts to cap it at 48.
What it does do is what 7steel posted, it allows you to train just under 68 so you can take your dot to 3rd cap using only 3 sp's then training it when it is at 4th cap

Come see me on the field bro, a baby could build a dot. Log in, click twice every two weeks.

Super proud of you.

All you can do is rookie/pee wee level cause you suck at the rest. DC past rookie level and come see me on the field. That trophy case of your looks pretty empty, but since your math is poor you probably count more than you have

Yeah I used to spam multi accounts.

I'm expanding to high level leagues this season.

Just because I've never tried it doesn't mean I suck.

I certainly dominate you at rookie though.
