I created a player. tracked down a guide (no idea if it was good). signed with a team so I could do something. was waiting for season games to start... when i check back in, i have no team and am behind with my level.

If he didn't save the name, it won't show under retired players. It's been this way as a bug for some time.

That and I'm pretty sure they always had to be a certain # days old
otherwise imagine how many retired players would be in the database from re-rolls

Remember when there were breakthroughs from creation and Mith and a bunch of other people had a script that kept rerolling players until they got a decent amount of breakthroughs on their training? Ah old times...

I miss the previous reroll script when you'd try to get 30 str on a center. Those were good times.

my guess is that the op created a player then went away for 5 days, so was cut automatically from the cpu team. not sure if thats a good rule any more.

sure it is. it's not that hard to log on every 2/3 days if not daily. most people can do what they need to do with their players in 10 minutes or less
