how decent would prime time player be on an int cb?

I tried it twice for two different dots... a CB and a HB. I never saw anything that suggested it really helped. Not saying it didn't... just saying there wasn't a significant difference. I had much more luck with Red Zone Freak.

I use it for the catch/jump bonus. CB and HB would do but most HB are short and dont get thrown to in endzone. CB same short thing. A hands FB or tall hands TE works very well and add a power element to it and the bonus gets seperation for jump/catch. one hand catch also

I have something like 15 interception CBs on my homepage not counting the 4 I retired last season, many of which have done well in WL and Casual Pro. I've tried it at least once on all of them. While it seems like it should be money, I have not seen a considerable difference, not one that appears to warrant the VA over other options.

While I agree for CB....other dot builds will work with it

Well carp. I've tried it and found nothing different than without... at least not measurable in any numbers that I could glean. But then, there's a chunk of peeps here that cry hard about how they can't ever get decent rolls for AEQ... I very seldom have any issue at all. GLB logic???

Yeah I guess if your AEQ is lacking then a reach or two is warranted. PTP is a very specific thing. I only use it for specific type builds. Like slot machine or diving tackle SA it needs a body of work
Try using it on a hands FB with one handed catch inside the 5 yrd line there are some nice routes that it will show up nicely as the TE and HB break route

I get this see cuz I tried Red Zone Freak with an INT CB build and it DID improve his red zone numbers in relation to his overall performance. See...to me that's 'visible and noticeable' evidence one can sink their teeth into. So many VA's and SA's I've tried over the years and years that I noticed worked well on some dots... but not others... even if it was MADE for the position. Some I swear by due to it's effectiveness (which I've proven over time and time again)... like Long Reach for example. Also, can tell you that long reach works even better for tall dots than for short ones. One of the main reasons I quit build short little speedy CB's. I still build for speed, but trade a touch of it for height which has improved the success of my CB's 'coverage stats' (PD's, to be precise) significantly.

Mostly because of where most of the passes are being thrown.

You have to be in a catch roll for it to fire so you likely aren't going to see a huge benefit to PTP for a CB in a sim where fakes has overtook everything else. Now if we reverted back to a time where Juke and CF wasn't so crazy and interceptions were still this common, PTP would be an absolute beast to use defensively.
