The game prevents you from adding SPs but it doesn't prevent you from adding EQ while a game is simulating. Does anyone know if upgrading EQ mid game would cause the players to take on new attribute levels later on in the sim?

I think it takes a snapshot before the game starts

which is also why it is dumb that you cannot train or add SP because the snapshot has already been taken

This is correct. Once game is started, any changes you could make would not effect game in progress.

I guess it's because you gain XP after game simulated, and since you could level up after gaining XP, it's better being locked.
