Where do you find out what the penalty is for out of position players? I would assume an OT at WR would be insane but what about a FB at HB or a TE at WR? What about Gs across the O-Line?

There's no confirmed, hard and fast info out there on this. At all.

There are, however, some nuggets of info that people have pieced together based on statements from admins and speed-script analysis. Someone will post that here shortly.

But here's the thing... you're usually better off playing a fair-to-bad player in-position than a good player out of position. If you're seriously considering OOP dots to fill a roster hole, what you really need to do is improve your recruiting.

This is more of trying an exploit that I have seen work against a particular team. In University I have found that using TEs at WR gives me an advantage on running plays and a rTE can usually catch the ball somewhat effectively. I do not think it would work most of the time in passing situations.

There's exceptions, hence why I said "usually."

Possible but WR's built for the application will still preform better at the job than TE's doing the same thing but playing OOP. As for the 'info' I believe the LOWEST damage you get is a 5% hit for being OOP. And, yes, the damage seems greater the more OOP a player is. So a HB at QB takes a hit but not as bad as a WR at QB.

It is an exploit because defensive coordinators can't set conditional inputs for wide receivers.

%5 is correct my good man

My theory is that bort takes the flex cost heavily into the OOP %s. A TE at WR isnt going to be simply a 5%. Probably like 10%. Even worse for O-line since O-line is 100 FP.
