Got a couple PM's asking about how private this guide is. Everything I have posted here is pretty general knowledge to any coach in this game at a WL level so I don't mind that this is spread around to wherever you may take it. I am in this forum for the sole purpose of helping everyone get better at dotball. Any way I can help out is great. I like the game and like to help guys get better to create more competition in it. Having seen the top of the mountain winning a WL gold the only way to keep sustaining any sort of cares is that the rest of you catch up to the Good Ole Boys anyways. So take this guide for what you will. I am always available via PM to answer any questions. Sometimes it takes a couple of repeat PM's to get me on track so don't feel as though I am specifically ignoring you. I will try and keep this guide updated throughout the seasons with new strategies if anything changes so everyone is kept up to date on the latest trends as well. Enjoy.

Since I am much more of an OC than DC or ST's guru, I am only going to go through the offensive side of the ball.

A couple small notes I can add to the OP:

- Builds that generally move around the field a lot and possibly have lots of speed usually should have mid 60's stamina. Some builds may benefit from a couple points in Second Wind as an alternative to keep refreshed if your depth isn't already the fix to that issue.

- Some build strategies are worked around lack of confidence to get primaries to higher levels. If you feel you are a good enough team throughout and are using this strategy, HOAC and/or Hometown Hero can be attractive offers.

- My general setups don't include team wide strategies nor do they differentiate a starter from a backup. All my general setups are based on starters. The alternatives really come into play for backups. Other strategies I have used as well are building the starting offense geared toward the RZ. 15 RZ Freak and GL Blocker on the oline starters, 15 RZ Freak on a couple targets. One or 2 players with Prime Time Player (generally a TE since they are easiest to manipulate though i have pretty much just done it on everyone now). Another strategy is late game savers. If you are a defensive type team that has a lot of close games, OT Killer to the max on all the starters really can go a long way. Whether you are trailing by 0-7 or winning, it can be quite a good strategy to play. Generally ill keep OT killer from 1 to 6 on most players. But i have tried the idea of 15 on all starters and thrived with it.

Passing QB

General Setup: 15 Slow Starter, 15 Laser Arm, 15 Hail Mary, 15 Quick Release, 12 OT Killer

Other solid alternatives: Football Genius, Clutch (I am only putting this here to appease you clutch nerds, I personally hate it. )

For a Scrambling QB, any combination of the above could be useful and you will possibly want to add Scrambler to your main structure assuming you are making use of Turn the Shoulder.

The problem is that nothing has really been updated in 2+ real years!

There are some tweaks that should be made - like TE and WR should definitely get quick feet to support Juke which is more powerful than it was a couple of years ago

I've seen and used the 1st post, but I hadn't seen the 2nd post. I had used some old Great Aus' guide for defensive players before though.

If only Bort would release mechanic formulas, I might have a chance at making a decent dot.
