confidence should never be higher than strength on a QB, the main reason why (if you are passing) Deep Passer archetype >>>>>Pocket Passer archetypeFirst of all, there are
2 differences between the builds. One is the difference of major/minor on con and str... the other, and the reason I like the PP, is the preferred SA's. DP has 'turn the shoulder'... which I've never been a fan of... while PP has 'pump fake'... which I love. Also, if you so believe that confidence has NO meaning at all for your build, why are you putting 60 into it??? Why not never touch it and have it down in the 20's or low 30's at end of build? To say you're putting 60 in is to admit you believe hat confidence has SOME effect in the ability of your QB. I am NOT ever gonna say confidence is more important than strength... but I can build a PP with plenty of strength and a confidence of somewhere around 70 and all the other bling that you hang on a DP arch. I don't expect him to be sacked (yeah... it happens... but I don't BUILD for it) so carrying and 'turn the shoulder' are useless to me (IMO). I'd rather simply build a strong PP with 'Pump fake' as a favored than a strong DP with 'turn the shoulder'. That's why I build them. I seriously believe your DP builds and my PP builds look very much alike when finished. But I prefer the SA favs of the PP arch over the DP arch and I can build around the simple flip/flop of the primary/secondary skills of str/con.
Mind you, it's what you LIKE and what you BELIEVE in when you build it. I simply prefer the PP arch. But I'll never dis you guys that prefer the DP arch. It's what you like and what you like to build. I just don't want the misconception out there that you CANNOT build a highly competitive PP QB just because the major/minors are flipped.
