When they went from 8 leagues down to 4 it was very good for the pro game, but at the moment the problem is since that change the userbase/competitive pro teams has dwindled down further.

Say what you want about the userbase etc., I truly feel like there will always be interest at the WL level, the problem will be keeping the interest at the pro level.

The problem right now is "cruising" to a 2 seed shouldnt be the norm and then when you go to gameplan for the second round, the game that "counts" you have nothing to go on as a coordinator because most teams are cruising till that point. Not to mention there ware CPU teams in Pro leagues last season, that should NOT happen.

As for what will happen to WL w/ only 2 pro teams, i really think that you should let the 9-12 seeds stay, i understand the way it was setup, to make it hard to be there and to stay there, but that was when we had 8 fully stocked pro leagues to support it. The reality is we dont have that anymore. We need to flip the script to strengthen the pro leagues, flip it back to make it harder to get there and just a bit easier to stay. Drop out the 13-16 seeds and then w/ 2 pro leagues the 2nd round winners get to advance on to WL just as it is now but cutting in half hopefully being a bit more competitive.


I really feel this will help the game out right now, will it eventually have to be cut down to 1 pro league underneath WL, well that's very possible, but you have to react to right now and right now the supply is just not there.......

No, WL is shit. Just dissolve it and release the teams back into the pros. Don't want to hear this "wahhh...the same teams will win Pro every season" shit. Happens season after season in elite leagues from rookie all the way to reg pro and people aren't crying about it. Put on a jock and quit being babies. It's ridiculous that we still have a WL when it and Pro is looking shitty.

Yours is a recipe for anyone that still takes the game semi-seriously to quit. World League has been the only incentive for quite some time now, and removing it makes no sense at all. Restructure the remaining leagues so that the funnel to World League remains competitive.

appreciate the effort, but this would be bad for the game, WL is still at least competitive and regardless of what the coords say, they are trying, take away the WL and it would be the final straw.....

The only way i could see it working is if you have 2 pro leagues/no WL and then the 2 champions play on day 40, 24 hours after the pro league finals....etc.....

The reason the WL is king is because there is no doubt who the best team in the game is at the end of the season, w/ different pro champions and an "unofficial" scrim to determine the champion it woudl be very meh

the WL is the ONLY thing keeping this game going right now, that and the few active casual pro agents.

Would work, bottom line if they are not going to change the sim they need to keep adjusting the leagues to meet demand. Right now there is WAAAAAAY more supply then there is demand. Pro sucks if you are a decent team because you get to playoffs and you dont even really get to gamepan the first couple rounds because the teams have been on cruise control, its more of a guessing game then gameplan.......

Pro has been awful this season...by far the worst ever

More than a few WL coordinators have told me they've been on cruise control for a long time.

Which should make you realize how much worse pro is......

And i get your point but those guys are trying in playoffs, if they say they arent they are losing or lying.....even though they are running a base they still have to run their plays/AI, I'd argue most of the 1/2 seeds in Pro could run a Bort Preset and still be a 1-2 seed.....that's the problem. In WL regardless of cruise control you can still find tendancies/weaknesses......in game 1 of playoffs.

you are wasting your breath if you think they will change anything....even when the game was hopping they did not do what was needed...comon now....

Definite +1 for me. This should have been a no-brain er for 2-3 Season's now and it just keeps getting worse. Just not saying anything about this will never fix the problem, but hopefully the powers to be listen at some point!

They change the amount of leagues every season. Hopefully they can make this change.

This. Or, the only, and IMHO, best option, is allow Agents to create fully grown dots. I'd be active again if I could do that.

In Pacific Pro I completely cruised to a 1 seed and through the first round of the playoffs.
