I played GLB when it first came out and owned 2 teams (Edmonton Axemen, East Ohio Warthogs) that did pretty well, coming back blind about player builds, I haven't made any players yet but I'm looking for a team or 2 to make some players for, PM me and I will get back to you about positions you need to fill. I just came back as well a few weeks back. Last played in 2010. 
GLB must be in the air. I have a Soph team now, so a touch ahead of your guys. But I have some Rookies if you all plan to put together a Soph team for next season (S6).
