In basketball, you have a stretch forward which is a PF/C who can shoot long-range and 3's. There's also a combo guard, which is a PG/SG.

So in football, what are some unique non-traditional positions to have fun building?

I was thinking of building an MLB with all tackling and strength with some speed and agility. Would he get burn all the time?

I built an OLB kind of like that (with perhaps less tackling and more speed/agility than you are thinking) and matched him up against blocking TEs and blocking FBs. He was more effective and useful than I expected: http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4290417

Interesting build, man.

I think I'll work around something like that.

150 - strength or tackling
100 - tackling or strength
75- speed
75- agility

Plus custom equip.

give him some make tackle and force fumble gear

Went AGI/STR/SPD/CARRY for this rushing FB. http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4405659

Effective inside rusher, but meh overall. Tried both slippery and bruiser and bruiser works much better (power running than elusive).

Why are you in Regional Pro? You're not even out of plateau yet.

That's what the "duel threat" part is--he can run AND he would also block when the RB carried the football.

WL/Pro teams weren't lining up at my door. Also, Ellis is my boy.

KL CB's
Scats built for one thing or another.
INT dots
Blocking WR or blocking HB

Niche dots like that are kind of fun, but you have to build them with a team/coordinator in mind and hope that they stay together for the life of the dot.
