Why in the hell do I need to click an extra 2 times per dot that I create.

Um... because... there just MIGHT be someone who doesn't want equipment on their dots. Why? Nobody but them knows... but there might be someone out there.... somewhere.

is it two clicks or one? (if you accept the default black color?)

either way, its a TON better than more than 24 clicks plus page reloads to buy and equip four pieces.

you can also skip it at creation and use the old GM outfitter script later on if TWO CLICKS is too much for you at creation time

He is saying CUSTOM, not regular, so the default color point is moot.

I say no to this for 1 very specific reason, and that is that often I will buy CE (with an eventual % bonus), but do not equip it early as it will then become the first piece in regards to stacking %s. I will wait until I get the % AEQ piece that it will be paired with first.

why would it mayyer if it was the first stacking piece? if it was its giving you more than any normal EQ so you would want it stacking first until your normal eq overtakes it?

Because from an AEQ piece you can get up to 15%, with CE the max is 12%

I'll break it down:

If you used CE as your first stacking piece - let's say you want an avoid fake % piece; the max the CE will go is 12% and the max an AEQ piece will go is 15% (12 + 7.5=19.5)
If you used AEQ first - (assuming you got a 5% piece from the start) 15+6=21

Only a 1.5% difference, but sometimes that matters, especially if stacking a third piece (go with 2 AEQs first then the CE stack)

Yeah... missed that in the title. (back to school fo' me.) Anyways, I agree with ya here. CEQ is quite a bit of a different beast than EQ or AEQ.

Are you new? That is not how it works, ever. The greater valiue is ALWAYS counted first. Whether you get it on day 0 of the dots life or day 278. The lesse value is halved no matter when you get it or when you equip it etc. Etc.

It has indeed worked that way for me in the past, if it has been changed this is the first I have heard of it.
