Let's start with the play in games:
Alpha:
It's literally win and in for both the Dogs and Asau.The loser will get the joy of missing the playoffs with a winning record.
While both are great teams, I'm going to go with the Dogs on this one, but it might come down to whichever team gameplans the most for this one
Zeta:
It's a little more complicated in Zeta. Here's the possible teams and what they need to get in.
Richey: Win and in... or if they lose, both Rush Hour and Dirty Island need to lose. They are playing a tough Orlando team, but they "control their own destiny".
Rush Hour: Needs to win and have Richey lose. Doesn't matter what Dirty Island does, as Rush Hour has the tie break over them. Rush Hour plays a pretty good Omaha Beef team.
Dirty Island: Needs to win and have both Richey and Rush Hour lose. They are playing the Seahawks, which will be a tough win to get, but their opponents at least have tough games as well
Zeta Prediction: It's a going to be an "anything can happen" type play in for the honor of facing the best team in GLB first round in the playoffs. Personally, I think that Rush Hour is going to game plan and show us just how they made the championship game last season. I think Richey will fall short vs orlando, and give Rush Hour the playoffs.
...but maybe I'm just keen to see a Rush Hour vs HHWC rematch game
