Whoever has done the pre-season schedule needs to take a good look at what they are doing.
Our last pre-season game is the same opponent as our first game, the next day

What is the point of pre-season then?
Even if it doesn't matter to YOU, do you really want to play the same team 2 times on the bounce?

Not as big of a problem as you think it is.

Still a little annoying though, so should probably be addressed and fixed.

Probably won't be though, given that we're 40 seasons in and they haven't bothered to yet.

*shrug* I've got bigger things to be outraged about.

I have never taken the preseason seriously.
It is for testing purposes.
It doesn't matter to me because I know whatever is run in that 4th preseason game isn't going to be the same thing in the opener. Most teams use the basic ai or one of the presets all preseason.

Can't be your first team can it?! This pretty much happens regularly as far as I've seen...That being said, I agree with you 100%, it makes little to no sense to schedule that way, but hey, if you're gameplanning for the preseason you may be doing something wrong...js

Exactly, I used to OC a while and this is my first season back using full ai, so I need as many games as I can. It just seems pointless and short-sighted for this to happen.

I've been known to gameplan in the pre-season from time to time, but only if I feel like I need some practice with the game-planning process itself to get into a groove. Generally, I don't.
