How does one do this? there isn't a WR1,2,3 etc slot in the play packages like there is for the TE, FB, HB, and QB spots
Forum > FAQ's, Player Guides and Newbie Help > How to get blocking WRs in plays for outside runs and not pass play??

If you have your blocking wr playing WR2, just set your targets to not target WR2 or put them later in the progression. Same goes for if you play him @ WR1 or anywhere else.
quicktip: Some DCs dont even waste time tagging WRs. So if you play them occasionally at TE to block it could mess with some DCs AIs.(IF that DC tags TEs that is)

You can put them in WR1 and WR3 in one play package and only throw to the RecTE, RecHB, RecFB, WR2, WR4, and WR5, then in the other play package and depth chart you put them in at WR2, WR4, and WR5 and throw to WR1, 3, TE, HB, and FB.

Put your #1 WR and bWR at WR1 slot, #1 WR on top and bWR on bottom.
Then put your #1 WR at QB1 or QB2 slot.
Choose a running play you want to use, force starter as QB1 or QB2. (or TE1, TE2, whatever)
Then your #1 WR will be QB, and it will force your bWR as WR1.
You could do this on WR2, depend on where you want running to.

There are lots of ways you can manipulate the depth chart or progressions to do it. But it isn't as easy as just putting them in or taking them out whenever you feel like.

That sounds intresting, how can you change them out per package and not entire game. Thanks

You can't flip them from side to side per play package. What he is talking about is a game to game depth chart/package change.

You can do it also by using the summary and tracking energy usage. I did with all my own WR dots on my team-difficult
