I have my lb's strength at 51.5 right now. I have enough to get him to 60.50, which is .01 under the next soft cap. Question is should i go ahead and take him to 60.50, or spend a couple more days training?

You want to get him to 61.5, not 60.5.
But, yes, keep training him.

wholeheartedly depends on where your training gains are at now... and how much time you have until you level up... also depends on current level etc etc.
In short... you need to give more info.

I think he gave enough info. He's "at 51.5 right now" so training to 90+% and then capping is the correct answer.

Ideally, you'll want to take to 61.50 so you could even train up to 52.5 and then 90% if you need that extra point to get to 61.50.

Depends on the math. Might be worth training to 52.5 and 90%+ if there's time before the next level up. Also, it depends on what he is giving up to do so (like what his other attributes are at). If he's at 66 on another attribute and trained to 90+%, the better option might be to spend the SPs on getting that over the 4:1 or even the 5:1 cap before spending his SPs on the 2:1.
Since I'm a 2nd tier agent, I would probably train it to 53 or 54 before spending the SP, because there are other places I might be able to get better ALGs and training maximizations.

It's a rookie dot though.
With intense training, LB Buju should be able to get to 53.5 and a high% and still cap before the 2nd game, when the ALGs would first come into play.
Keep training!
