I play both, but most as RDE.

RDE - evenly between Agility and Speed

LDE - Evenly between Strength and Agility

If your balanced between LE and RE, I would go with what madd is saying but i think the best thing to do would be to specialize as either a RE or LE, not both. You will be more effective if you can specialize for one position instead of both.

My two cents is that the extra speed isn't going to make much of difference. 50 SPD is more than enough to hit the qb once you get off of the block. The key is getting off of the block consistently and quickly. If you think 50 STR is enough to be competitive, toss the whole kit and kaboodle on AGI and see what happens.

Personally, my preference would be to focus a good chunk on STR and the rest on AGI, but I know that LOTs don't generally pile STR as high as ROTs, so may be you can get away with less STR.

Don't know if you all are already aware of this, but the talk is that Bort said he was going to increase the effect of agility next season.

I agree. I'd say evenly between Agility and Strength, but any mix should be fine.

Your base stats seem great. I'd focus SPs on the specials to put you over the edge. Pick one special and run with it. Once you get First Step or Shed Block to 8 or so you'll go from good stats to great stats.

I disagree with everyone. I would pick EITHER strength, speed, or agility, and put all of my points into it. IMO trying to be good at everything leaves you just ok at everything, trying to be good at one thing, and you will be very good at it. If you pick strength, increase your strong base ability, and shove the OT's around. If you pick speed, increase your first step ability and blow by them. If you pick agility, increase your shed block ability, and go right through them.

Raising base stats is a great plan early, but as the cost increases for them, everyone's build become similar, all of the offensive linemen are going to have 50+ (probably 60+) strength, and blocking, and probably at least 40 agility. This is the point in the game where your SA's will start making a huge difference.

any other opinions? my DE plays mostly left DE and I have all of my points in strength. I agree that it's best to have them all in one category, but I'm not sure if that category should be strength or agility.

LDE - strength.

Also note that LDE deals with the run a lot.
