Guys, I "built" my "free" player on GLB2

Looks like I can buy pricey career extensions, and I can buy pricey extra points to make my guy more experienced immediately, etc.

So he's a newb, and can play at a crappy level, I take it -- or I can do in-game purchases and be "good" real fast.

Question: In GLB 1, you miss the chance to boost on a seasonal basis. Does this apply to the "in app purchases" in GLB2? From a newb POV, it looks like I can worry about career-extending purchases some other time. But is there an insurmountable "fall behind" factor if you don't buy boosts before preseason's over or anything?

Thanks everybody/anybody.

for a quick answer I am pretty sure I heard that the boosts can be done at any time without any set back

this...there is no training and no ALGs, so it really doesn't matter when you boost your guys.

Free players aren't really free?

Think he might be confused on the SP boosting part. My free player was free and is still free. When you go to boost, it'll show SP that will be "purchased" but show the cost as "free."

Yes they are, aside from career boosts. Free players can compete with paid players 100%, they just don't last as long.

TBH the Career Boost is down the line anyway , you may not even be playing anymore. I wouldn't worry about til then.

The AP boosts that are currently locked, will they be free as well on the free players?
