Is it?

Because I am about sick of the current system.

Take todays game which sends me here.

OTMiracle score 10 unopposed points to open the game, holding the bad guys to a punt or two in the process.

The bad guy then scores a single touchdown.

The next defensive series my defense is at 88 Morale.

So somehow because of ONE Touchdown my defenders have all lost 12 points of morale - despite having a Team Promotion that adds a 13 point Morale Buffer (if this is a road game, home game would be higher).

What

The

Fck???

Then despite making the bad guys punt twice in a row, my KR rolls on to the field with a morale of 84 and voila coughs up the ball.

This Morale system sucks Bort. Do not fck up your new game with it.

Too many teams for Offtopica imo.
Players get confused and morale spirals.

Chemistry does suck though. team has a little bit of turnover and is screwed for half a season. I could see it if the changes were made during the season, Chem should take a hit, but with preseason games morale should improve a faster rate. If Bort were smarter, he would let ranked scrims during the preseason against non cpu teams increase morale a bit. It would be an easy money grab for him because people would be paying for those scrims to get chem up. it obviously would have to have limits, but it could be done and profitable for Bort.

Yes (but how much?) and you will probably think so.

that is a good question tpat, and I am not sure that I know the answer, but a little bit of assistance should be in order
maybe max it at being able to gain like 5 morale pts.

Sounds fishy. Your entire team lost 12 point on just one play?

Also fix ur confidence.

Also there is no team chemistry currently in GLB2. There are 2 morale type attributes in GLB2. Heart and Toughness. Heart reduces the effects of a bad play given up. Toughness reduces the effects of a hit or rev cake (basically a hard hitting interaction).

The only way you would be screwed for half a season is if you had a lot of turnover. A little turnover wouldn't effect you really at all. In fact most turnover that doesn't involve half your team is fixed and back at 100 prior to the end of the preseason.

Chemistry....right, forgot about that.

Okay so our Chem is 90. Lets say that is a one to one minus from Morale Start, now we add in the 13 Promotions bonus to morale, so 103 Morale at Start of game.

Now the bad guys are stopped on two or so drives. And we score on two.

Then the bad guys score a Touch Down.

So there is ONE bad drive for my Defense.

Even if we pretend they would not care about the offense winning the game so far, they only have ONE drive to reduce their morale.

On ONE drive they lost 15 morale?????

And they got Zero boost to their morale from the two drives they stopped?

To me that is just dumb.

They should get a boost to morale because the team is winning.

They should get a boost to morale because they stop a drive.

They should have been 100 morale, the plusses should have outweighed the negatives at that point.

Really infuriating. It seems to make the promotions a total waste of time.

Which is pretty standard in the game.

Is a system that punishes the typical team (aka the typical ten to thirty players) for over half of their season really a good business choice to make?

10 players wouldn't really effect you at all. By day 1 of the season you would already be back at 97 overall.
