As an OC is there anything to be done to reduce the chance of interceptions?

Besides not throwing the ball obviously.

More bullet? Better progressions that target receivers at the moment they cut? Raise the Throwaway Risk Threshold?

Obvious answer: Build better dots....

Not really. We have played with the Bullet slider and see similar results with each of the settings within the range we want (mostly to all the way Bullet). Obviously, better built dots will perform better overall, which includes Ints, but I have the leading QB in WL at the moment and have still thrown 2 Interceptions per game this season.

Don't throw it against my Cb's? Seriously though... pay attention to your INT's. Do some self-scouting and I'll bet you'll find you're getting picked on certain types of routes and/or plays more than others. Even IF things have changed since I last was a scout, the plays haven't changed much at all... and I distinctly remember noticing certain routes and plays that had those routes in them. I just wish I could remember which one's they were. Maybe curls?

Throw in less congested areas. Gameplan. Throw screens and quick passes.

More bullet is not the answer as many people have PD dlines now so that is just gonna frustrate you more. Not to mention its gonna be a lower trajectory and INT dots generally make INT's short of the target.

Thanks, though I think the pics I have been seeing are not traffic related, single coverage crossing routes. Just getting picked for some reason. Same ole' QB.

I'll have to check the plays etc.

May have just been a bad match up dot wise. We got pwnt and it was mostly the turnovers so it got my attention.

Keep in mind that over the past few seasons INT secondary players are very popular so you're facing more of those types of builds

^^^^What these guys are saying. A lot of CBs are only gonna jump the route if they have help.

Also, if you're going up against an INT secondary, keep it on the ground as much as you can especially if they've also got a good pass rush. Some teams you are playing right into their hands every time you drop back.

Many of the int's I have seen look to be Pocket Passer's throwing deep routes with their slider set more towards bullet and the CB's with high jumping are cutting the route and getting the pick. FIX? Stick to what your QB is built to do or fix your slider or AI. My bad .02 cents.
