What should I look for/avoid when buying a team? Any beginner tips? Thanks for all the help.

Try buying a Pee Wee team in one of the Silver leagues to start off . You can practice using an AI there and you can build a team of nonboosters pretty cheaply for the one season.

Yeah. It just lasts one season instead, so you build with that in mind.

This and you don't have to jump right in and figure out stadium building and other tricky stuff. Just the basics.
