I see that games are played every two days. At least it's that way in rookie league. Is it the same across the board? Is there a way to get more action than this?

Sadly not, unless you make more dots.
Human owned teams, however, tend to schedule friendly scrimmages and are involved in tournament games, which can often mean you play more than once every two days.
Otherwise, for an agent with one dot, or few dots, there ain't much to do...

As mentioned, regular season games are only every other day, days 1-32. Playoff games are then every other day 33-40, assuming you make the playoffs (teams get scrimmage games scheduled if they do not make the playoffs or are eliminated). Team owners can also pay flex points to schedule ranked or unranked scrimmage games throughout the season.
If you would like to be more involved, I would suggest either creating additional players or reading up and learning to become a coordinator on a team.
