Can someone explain what's changed since then so I don't have to take the trial and error approach?

nothing is the same.

if youre going to make a dot or two. make em today since its the last day to make a nice non peewee dot

What's the best way for me to find out how it works? And I've made a few dots so I'm good in that department.

I haven't played in in quite a while.

Any idea if it's too late to create players now? I notice that there's still a few days before the preseason starts.

I don't believe you have lost out on any training points yet vs creating day 40 of the last season (but I think you'd have to create and get on a team today). You would be a set of boosts behind many of the dots created with the intention of taking to plateau. Your dot would not have the max VP potential of those who boosted last offseason (I believe), but you would still have the potential for your dot making level 79 at pleateau.

Could always create and play for Peewee team this season and start another at the end of this season (that way not behind levels until plateau)
