Hey Im just trying to help out all the guys with Qb problems. If you dont like what I say dont flame me. I have a successful Qb that has been consistant for 2 seasons now, in a balanced offense.
The problem people dont realize for there Quarterbacks are they are a reactive position. You cant just blindly build a qb and expect him to perform. Alot of people out there had great Qb's last season, and this season they have failed. This is mainly do to the boosting effect. They have there wideouts that boosted and went "usually" speed. So now the average wideout runs about 55-60. Your Strength needs to be around 75% of your wideouts speed. That means you need a strength of 45 just to keep up with them.
Now the vision aspect. This is the one spot that comes iffy. Here you have to take in account the Full ability of the Wideouts, and your offensive line. The worse the players, the more vision that is needed. This comes in handy when teams are blitzing like crazy. Your qb will see this, and will throw the ball, before your wideout breaks open. Without the vision, he will stand there dumb founded and make some errant throw, just to be picked off.
Throwing. Your qb's throwing should always be the number 1 attribute. Its self explainatory.
Skill points. Pocket passer.
The Pocket Presence. This is a skill that is reactive to the oline. If you have a great online, then this one is pointless. Ill take that one extra sack every 3 games, in order to get that 1 2 or 3 points added to one of the above, and grab 6 points out the deal.
For Tight Spiral. Use the rule of thumb strenght/10 round up if possible.
Field General. This one is a good one to have, its just to expensive for my taste, and havent found a great need to use it "yet"
If you have any questions you can PM me.
