i have long known that the mvp was total fubar, but altho i thought that i'd seen the mvp changed in the post season b4, i always thought that it was due to players leaving the league. today, i noticed that 2 of my teammates have flipped in the mvp (1 vs 2) since yesterday. what ever player is leading the mvp on day 33, should be the winner on day 40 and not have to worry that positions will change due to a screwed up mvp formula. nothing in the playoffs is supposed to affect the regular season mvp to the point that 1 and 2 will flip plop.

after looking at the mvp further, i can see the wr that had been at #3, is no longer there and that a kicker has moved into #10. so it would appear that #3 wr leaving the conf somehow caused the wr at #2 to have his status pumped up allowing him to jump the fb at #1. this shouldnt happen EVER, let alone in the playoffs where the stats have already been finalized.

I feel the same way about the current Hall of Fame
thats a whole different monstrosity. the perfect example of how screwed up hof is is the punter rankings. the #1 punter has 2 measly #2 trophies and a career average of 33 and never had a single season averaging over 46. my best punter ended with 8 gold, 6 silver, and 1 bronze with a 44 career average and is at 273. hof is the definition of fubar.

When you have agents who are creating teams specifically to spam plays to one player so he can win an MVP regardless of how the team does your MVP loses all credibility.
The fact that this can be done is a problem for game designers.
The best idea I have heard so far is to limit MVP to playoff only teams.
That would probably piss any many people off as it would please but it does limit some of the junk going on.
