I thought I was pretty fair to you guys. I think numbers 2-5 are pretty much equal.

It's possible for Budapest to end up 5th. The conditions are thus:
- Stayed tied with SGA and Prague
- Score less points overall than SGA or Prague
- Helsinki wins out

That's just one scenario though, there's several others, as is common when there's half a dozen games left. If the field were seeded today, you'd be 5th seed and face Prague in the first round. Since you beat them, that's not an entirely undesirable scenario eh?

Not to be a dick... but oooh, they'll have a 500xp advantage over a team that boosted early in the season. Or less if they used only 1 or 2 boosts or doesn't have any real policy on boosting (SGA style, boost when you want).

Holding out on boosting until the last possible moment is useful during the first two seasons of a player's life. Past that, the cumulative effort might as well be a mere two level difference at the end of a player's life cycle, and we all know that builds > levels anyways. I mean, what'll be the main difference between a level 48 and a level 50?

I see SGA with #2 seed come the end of the season - but I might be biased

Edit: And moon, in the big picture maybe it wont matter - but meeting a team unboosted means generally a 3 level difference. So beating them unboosted will surely not mean you will beat them boosted. Advantage of boosting early or not doesnt matter in that perspective.

It also gives you an excuse when you lose. That's invaluable.

You probably could have if Prague had run the table without boosting. God, that would have been Epic.

I get a pass for doing the things I do.

prague is waiting for the destroyers to use their boosts. (they think it's gonna help.)

I doubt they're waiting for the destroyers. The fact that it's the last game of the year will be a factor though. If a win or a loss will make a difference in seeding, I'm sure they'll forego that one game of extra 30 xp and boost at that time.
