I am going to build a QB and I want to know what type of build a cerebral QB would have. By cerebral I mean a QB who gets the ball out quick, doesn't take sacks or hits and doesn't throw picks. This QB wouldnt neccesarily have a great arm but would have great passing (touch) ability. I assume that build would be a vision based QB. But im not sure how to build a vision based QB and if that build would work in the higher leagues. Any help would be appreciated.

Starting Build: 25 Vision (27), 18 Throwing

Because you start out with 27 in Vision, you'll only need to buy +10% enhancement to start with. By Day 48 you'll be able to buy 1 SP and cap Vision at 49. Keep pounding Vision, and on day -3 you be able to 2 cap Vision at 61.01. That same day, you'll be able to buy Vision Multi-training, and start training throwing on the swing attribute. Because you skimped on your Vision enhancement, you can also buy the Throwing enhancement at +20% at the same time.

Day 9/10: You'll 3 cap Vision. Congratz you are done with Vision.

Day 17/18: You'll cap Throwing at 49.03. Now, if you've been following along and have been saving your BTs, you'll want to unlock Throwing and Strength multi-training for 30 BTs. You should be able to also buy the Confidence enhancement at 10% and the Strength enhancement at 10%. Set the multi-training to Vison/Throwing/Strength with Confidence on the swing.

Day 27/28: You'll 2 cap throwing at 60.71. You can buy the 20% enhancement for Strength at the same time, and then a couple days later pick up the +30% for it.

Hang on to your Boosts, no matter what your playoff chances are.

Around Day 45, depending on when your training rolls over, you'll be able to buy 1 SP again for 15 BTs, and 3-cap Throwing at 68.05. Then you can boost 3 times and immediately 4-cap Throwing at 74.06.

|| At this point you'll have 40 BTs sitting around. A lot of agents will advocate for buying more training enhancements, and bringing everything up to 30% or more. || For the sake of this build, I'm going to show what happens when you do not. Remember, at this point, I'm only sitting at +10% Vision, +20% Throwing, and +30% || Strength.

Here's what we look like at the end of the 1st season.

Then Boost the 3rd time and you can 1-cap Strength at 48.40. You are now L25 and your VXP starts rolling in.

That's the end of the begining.

From here on out, it's all down hill. The trick to maximizing the rest of the build is to watch your swing attributes, and switch out of them when they hit 30 (or so).

As far as what caps to do for the rest of the build, that's up for debate. Right now, Confidence is viewed as being almost worthless. If you 1-cap it, your Major ALG in it will carry it up to a good number. Strength can get a 6 or 7-cap easily, but don't get stuck on it. Get into Agility, Stamina and Speed as quickly as possible.

There's some debate as to whether QBs should get 3 or 4 pieces of EQ. Either can work, bit I prefer the 3 AEQ method, and shoot for 1200 BTs when I build.

Here's one build I did using this guide.

if you want to have a good QB... First off you have to be on a good team... Second. Making GLB Qb's like real life Qbs is suicide and your dot will kill him self.

These are the tips that were given to me. and I know that I haven't made a good QB but many people have passed this tip to me... and now I'm passing it you. Good Luck

Just notice that their were no SA's on this VPB... Oh well I/he can go look @ a WL/Pro Dot that and base the SA's off of that.

There's also no AEQ listed.
There's 80+ spare SPs in each of those builds (and they have usable BT totals).

Every build will change when the dot actually ages. It's pointless to account for 88 SPs worth of SAs in a guide when the real dot could end up with 80 or 90 or who knows how many. There's plenty advice out there for what to do with SAs.

I didn't read through the whole post. Just took a look at the end build and noticed there were no SAs and had to bring it up.

Build itself looks pretty solid in my opinion.

I've definitely been seeing a lot in the forums to support 3 AEQ on a QB.

2x PQ, 1x PD CEQ: PQ.

I'm a believer of trying something different than the standard builds. My thoughts on what you seek;
Strength-95
Agility-95
Vision-90
Throwing-100 to 105
Confidence-55 minimum.
Be sure Speed and Stamina reach 1st cap at the very least.
3xPQ + PQ in CEQ.

I think that type of QB should... with a good quality OC and decent receivers... should be awesome. I've tried twice to build one but both times had to recycle due to mistakes (missed boosts and other stuff). But I will build one someday.
