any way to set the personnel on a 2 pt attempt?

for some reason, a FS came in at HB on this one, while team has 2 power HBs, neither is in an that attempt. the only FB on roster gets put at TE although there are 4 TEs on the roster (only two are out there). the only elusive HB gets put at FB

GL Depth Chart is all that is offered.
Would be nice to have one exclusive to 2pt conv. as well as a 2pt conv playbook.

But if we really wanted to we could force the AI to make all the 2pt conversions, when to make them, what plays to call, what lineup to use, etc... the joy!

GL Specific doesn't have any settings for HB or FB

also, if one uses the formations tab will that over-ride anything in the AI for GL that isn't a 2-pt attempt?

Every season someone asks about this, and it's the same answer every season.

You are using the Goalline set (automatic on 2 pt conversions). On the play in question, you have 2 TEs in at TE (likely a depth chart issue) and then the game auto-fills the 3rd spot. For whatever reason, it likes to fill the open TE slot with a FB (even if you have other TEs on the roster). Then, now that your FB is playing TE, someone needs to play FB, so it's logical choice is the HB. Now since your HB is playing FB, it grabs the guy with the most speed and energy which in this case is your FS, to play HB.

If you had your Goalline Specific depth chart setup like it presently is during this game, then you might have a bug. But if you didn't have it set up this way (always make sure to have at least 3 people in the Goalline TE slot), that's the reasoning for the players playing out of position.

you say this all like it makes sense that it should be this way.

IMO this is some buggy crap. the system shouldn't pull a FB to play TE if there are other TEs available. it shouldn't put an elusive HB at FB when there are power HBs available. and under no circumstances should it put a FS at HB when there are other HBs on the roster available.

at the very least, if the sim is going to default to the GL specific chart, give us a way to put a HB and FB on that chart.

No, AI always overrides everything else. It's when AI has holes is when the other functions kick in... GL Specific and Goal Line.
If you have a play for GL in your AI, it should use the DC that you have set for that play.

Goal Line is basically for Casual use, but is useful in organizing backs for 2pt conversions

It put in the right people that you had in the depth chart. With no TE in the chart, you left the decision up to the sim. It picked the FB. Then you left the now vacated FB position decision up to the sim. It picked your HB. Finally, with the HB slot vacated (it pulls from the regular HB slot), it made the choice for you. It picked the FS.

If you don't want your HB and FB playing out of position on goalline plays (including 2 point conversions), make sure you have 3 guys who aren't starting at other locations listed in your Goalline TE slot.
