What about your CB Man Coverage Cushion in your DAI?

I've actually noticed this as well whodey.
I DC for a pee wee team and it definitely has caused us some issues. dots are just playing too far off the receivers and it allows big receptions.

I can dig up replays if you file a bug and need some more.

If you don't care please post them because it sucks to put in the time to try and set up defenses just to have something that you have no control over allow teams to move the ball like that.

Pondering if it's just something relating to vision? Most PeeWee dots don't have a lot and it's possible that the inscribed penalties for lack of vision cause some serious wonkyness. It "shouldn't" happen... but it over-reacts to the code of low vision checks and therefore fails in it's coverage assignments.

I have never heard of vision affecting the cushion setting of a CB though. This is what makes me think its a bug.

That's been happening for 10+ seasons, so, it could be a bug, but if so, then it's one they don't fix. I've personally always felt it was a byproduct of high speed vs low agi+vis. Basically, CB keeps running backwards fast without reacting to WR routes. It always happens more in the beginning of the first season, when the non-speed attributes aren't developed.

You are referring to their reaction of the pass where they continue backwards and don't have the vision or agility to react to the pass which is what I specifically said I was not referring too. I am referring to the 'cushion" given to the WR before there is even a pass to that WR. They are giving like a 5 yard cushion that should not be given.

If you look at my examples you will see the same CB's have no problem with tight coverage on some plays but give a 5yd cushion on other plays. If it was just a matter of speed and going backwards to fast than that would happen all the time and not just randomly.

If it is a bug GL getting it fixed. Bort too busy making bugs on GLB2 too give any cares about GLB1

I'm referring to both, really. The same issue that causes CBs overrunning results in this, I believe.
Either way, it's been around forever. Train up your agi/vis, because Bort has abandoned GLB1, so you'll have to deal with it like the rest of us Pee Wee have for years.

//edit: Also, this might be a giant pain in the ass, but try putting a safety over the top and see if that helps. Some of it might come just from CBs not wanting to get burned deep. Not sure if GLB dots are smart enough to figure that out.

I double checked a lot of my replays and noticed the cushion isn't as large as the ones you've put. It's closer to like 3-4 yards.

even so that shouldn't be happening on -100. So I can post a bunch if you want.

however the whole thing about them backpeddling 10 feet when the pass is thrown is pretty annoying too. I think that needs to be looked at more.

I'm assuming the original post was of corners playing far off of receivers, and I'd agree that it's a bug. I've seen it plenty of times.

Yes it was. The issue was that the CB's who played off the WR's would also play tight coverage on other plays so its not a coverage cushion setting or anything like that. Something randomly made them give like 5 yards or even more to the WR.
