New or better, those are two of the keys to success with a product, with marketing hovering over it all. Without reading thousands of posts, what is the new idea here?

my early impression is that the functionality/depth of experience in GLB2 will be much cooler than GLB1 for agents/dot-builders, possibly better for owners, but much less interesting for hardcore coordinators/gameplanners/tacticians.
but the weak visual/graphical elements might keep a lot of new people from sticking. on first glance GLB2 just looks tired, outdated and clunky. GLB1 isn't flashy but its clean, loads fast and (with the customization you can do to the home page even without greasemonkey) very user-friendly (until you get into the AI).

its harder to screw up a player so the layman can pick it up more quickly
AI's are simplified so it is easier for the layman to pick up
i would say the graphics give it the look of a more polished game, but thats not really true

...well I hope that they fixed the structures that they hard coded into this version ...hopefully they have made it 'one and done' and they have created a better league structure where every season we have a way of filtering teams into leagues that they deserve to be in ...maybe have the first half a season for grading the quality in maybe some elimination tourney or round-robin

I think 10 yard fight is a more accurate comparison. It is choppy, and the graphics overall rendering is closer than the comparison to tecmo super bowl.
