I just find it funny that it looks like they just did a code-over for the actual simulation making the offense overpowered in GLB2 too..

Well i look at it this way... we have been saying forever that the only real fix to GLB is a restart..
So if the admins and coders take what they learned the first time up.. put and mix that in whats worked and kicks out what screws things up... The game in GLB standards should be better..
The dumbing it down to cut back on the needs for cords to put in so much time... that worries me.. Iya i bitch when I have have to take 3 hours to install a ai on a new team... but I also have the option of running it from my own tactics and not having to do that,, Part of what I love about GLB is that it makes me work... it makes me want to get better and put time in... ...
I think DCs feel the same way .. although most of the ones I know have a AI that took them seasons to get where they want. they just have to tag now .. and adjust for new plays and such... as much as they bitch about the time it takes.. the best DCs love doing it... the average DCS fall off.. then bitch that it's too hard.. I like the idea that the harder my cords work the better we can be,,, I hope we keep some of that....
I hope we see more options.. the biggest flaw in GLB has always been balance... right now Power running is life... seasons go buy and screens suck.. now they are a great passing option... every time we adjust to fix something we break something else.. (leading us to where we are today)
At first this new idea bugged me a bit.. I was taken off guard by it.. truth is the more I think about it the more I'm looking forward to seeing it..
I think it will be a hard sell to this player base.. 1 thing that the followers of this and every online game have proven is that no matter what people will bitch.. I think the staff have screwed up GLB 1 by trying way too hard to please everyone... We just want a balanced game that keeps us thinking ... oh and 5 TDs a game for my qb.. maybe 4 INTs per cb... so we can then bitch about how unlike the NFL this game is... so we can talk the Admins into making the game a boring ass def fest for a few seasons.. so we can bitch about how much unlike the NFL this game is.. rinse and repeat...
when you find balance.. keep it.... find other ways to add things and keep people invested... Balance is key IMO

cb are too short. not enough stamina. tha wr had 137 stamina and it was the second half. win by default.

glb isnt broken btw. most of us just dont have a mother to ell us to go play outside every now and again giving time for glb to refresh in our brains. just take a break and then it is fixed. they prmiseit will still be here whe you are done flying your kites...smelling the roses.

strategy is he biggest problem all coordinators have to be coordinted and start asking agents to build the way you want the team to play. Once you sat to gain a rapport between oc and dc....the gamebecomes dynamic. losses hurt like hell and wins make you want to tear your mothersthroat out. and you usually end up quitting after two seasons becauseofthe investment. Theres abslutely nothing wrong with this game....It becomes really fun once the OC starts runnng a offense to protect the dc and the results start showing from scouting.

Agree 100%. Madden's comes out with a completely new game every year, not just patches to the current game.
GLB has been around for how many years now? Can't blame them for wanting to phase out this version and start a new one.
