Ok, I think we're saying the same thing (I knew that Catch Fake was distinct). So I guess what it boils down to is you're saying that "Head Fake" and "Juke" CAN assist a receiver in getting open?
And it does so SEPARATELY, or in assisting the likelihood of "Catch Fake" firing?Juke and Head Fake are SAs that work while the ball-carrier is running with the ball OR while a receiver is running a route.
Catch Fake is an SA that works while the receiver is running a route.
Juke and Head Fake are enhanced by Quick Feet, catch fake is not.
If you are using flash replays, I'm not sure if the route fakes show up... they might just shrink the dot... I can't remember.
Example:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2396579&pbp_id=4894895The HB doesn't have the ball, but jukes and head fakes the CB.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2396579&pbp_id=4894851The WR jukes his defender to get into single coverage.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2431398&pbp_id=7877135The WR does a catch fake to get open for the catch. Also, Ryu jukes his Albert Lewis twice.
