In light of 2 positions having a returner archetype, and at least a couple others being used as returners (HB/FB), how about adding a KR/PR option in the drop-down box when searcjhing for FAs?

Obviously CBs and WRs with the returner archetype would be listed here, but for non-returner archetypes there could possibly be a checkbox for any other position to choose to be a returner upon creation (but still keep there own majors) so they would show up as KR/PR FAs.

Edit: So this isn't confused with the "revisions/additions to archetypes" on the NGTH list, keep in mind that the checkbox is ONLY for visual display as a returner in the marketplace.

+1 to making the marketplace search more robust. all that's needed is to have an option on drop down for position that says "any"

would be useful in finding returners and general STOPs.

btw there are three positions that can have a returner archetype, you're forgetting HBs.

as far as designating non-return ATs as returners, this would probably really only apply to elusive HBs, which is a pretty common AT for returners. i think having agents designate them upon creation is probably NGTH because it would require a lot more coding than anyone is going to actually do on this post-beta game. and its probably not all that necessary. good owners/recruiters probably look for EHBs that are built as returners and agents can always put "return specialist" as the title of their marketplace ad.

The thing is, a buddy of mine built a pretty successful FB returner on his first try:

So I know that other positions can work there as well.... likely a rQB would work as well without much (if any) OOP penalty. Possibly TE as well without the OOP. Once you start using non-skill players though that is when the OOP penalty should kick in.

i'm just saying that GLB adding some way to unofficially designate dots with some tag beyond their position and archetype is very unlikely to happen. it would be useful though, for both recruiters and for agents looking to be recruited

I agree with unlikely, but it definitely has merit. Especially if only for visual display (therefore not altering the actual dot in any way).

I know people have been asking for more Marketplace functionality for ages with little to no love at all, so while I am not holding out much hope for this suggestion, I agree that it should be implemented if for no other reason than it should have been there in the first place.

Unlikely or not, if it isn't suggested, it will likely never get implemented either.
