I've read conflicting info. Some say there are no diminishing returns on them over 10. Others say there are. Can anyone clear this up?

Every SA has diminish return when it's over 10.

Thanks, that is what I thought but I had seen a post saying otherwise and thought I'd ask.

They probably had them confused with VA's.

If you have 10 points in a favored SA, the boost from being favored is not diminished.(If I recall correctly)

But the 11th point, and it's bonus, will be diminished.

But if you are going to push past 10 in an SA, a favored one is a better bet since it is still getting a bonus on its diminished portion.

I have 10 in Route Run and Sticky Hands and they are both favored. The Slot Machine VA maxed out gives a 45% boost to both of these SAs. That means they would then be 14.5 right? So is it a waste to have Slot Machine maxed out?

I think it's a 45% boost to the true numeric value in the sim, not the 10 or whatever we put in it, so it ends up worth it.

what is the true numeric value?

I just know the roll isn't based on the number you have in the SA

Think about it...after 10 SAs diminish in value. The true number can't be 10, because 11 isn't diminishing. It has to read from someehere else. Which is the true number...which is Bort only knows.
