I think the Game needs to correct the WR's Abilities. I can see the Catch Fake and it's one thing for a Head Fake but to see WR's "Juking" CB's all Game is stupid. Everyone says they don't want the "Cookie Cutter" Builds and don't want something becoming a must but the way the Game is now, A CB has to have Avoid Fake% Chance or he is useless.

Or you could have one of the tons of KL corners.... or INT corners, which hardly makes them cookie cutter since u can go 3 diff routes. Also WR's are hardly the problem for a def, its stoping the PHB game

It's ridiculous how pHBs have just been wrecking shit for the last few seasons.

I rarely see a WR juke or head fake, but you are correct, avoid fake is a must for pass defense.

A lot of that is because the emphasis just isn't there on tackling.
A CB that isn't built to tackle will usually lose against a build that is built to break tackles.
A CB can be built to deflect (% deflect, % avoid fake)
A CB can be built to deflect with some tackling and strength (% deflect and % make tackle)
A CB can be built to deflect with some tackling and catching (% deflect and % make tackle or INT)
A CB can be built to intercept (% INT, % avoid fake, % delfect)
A CB can be built to KL
A CB can be built to make tackles
A CB can be built to force fumbles
A CB can be built to blitz...
...but a CB that is built to do too many of those things will often lose to dots built just to do one thing.
I built a whole bunch of JoaT CBs just to try and deal with the lack of strength and tackling most CBs have. The result has generally been that they aren't that good at deflecting, they still miss a lot of tackles, but their high strength and tackling have helped with KLs. Also they don't have the vision to keep themselves from being faked out. I've tried giving them cushion and setting them on loose, but they still seem to bite on fakes a ton.

Still doesn't explain NTs with 90+tackling (without EQ) and strength over 150 are having 5-6 broken tackles against them via a pHB. 1-2 maybe, but pHBs are once again over-powered.
I just hope I picked correctly 8-10 seasons ago so I have some over-powered players next season.

Break block %.
You need to be off the block to make an easier tackle.

it's because they are usually engaged in a block. Bort put lots of stuff in play for those conditions. If you want to counter that, get jump up and start diving for those tackles. You get to do that when engaged.

a lot of those NT misses are diving tackles too with 8 jumping so their diving tackle score is crap.... couple that with being engaged thats why they miss, but when they miss tackles its usually not a game breaker.

My point is, a Ball Carrier can "Juke" an oncoming Tackler but a WR doesn't "Juke" a Corner in Coverage... Football on any level works that way and should on here as well.

Ok and if a defender doesn't have MT% he is also useless, because pretty much every RB in the game breaks tackles with ease. Your still not making much sense, offensive builds dictate how a defender will built, not the other way around and its that way IRL.
