Yes, I get that almost nobody trades these days, but I'm confused about the "mechanics" of even offering one. I've looked over several age-appropriate rosters and then looked at the individual dots of interest--their profile doesn't say "No Trade", so I'm assuming their available. But when I click on the "offer trade" button, most times not a single dot comes us as being available on the other team's roster.

Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Just tried with a few teams to check and all of them not a single player on my team or their team showed up. And i made sure the teams had players that didnt have a no trade clause. So no clue...but its not just you.

I assume you submitted the bug report Larry (I really wish they'd give us that information)?

I verified it at Semi-Pro. At Rookie, though, you can trade. Something is definitely not right.

been that way for several seasons. I tried to do a trade several seasons ago and was frustrated by it being as OP described. only certain players show up as available, even when you are a GM of both teams with trade rights.

i contacted either support or bugs (don't recall which) and no one had a fix soon enough and I ate the chem hit for cutting and signing for both teams.

Earlier today someone else reported a bug regarding trades. It could be (and this was their thought) that something isn't right with the age range of the dots involved. The report that was sent involved Prep. I verified that rookie dots could be traded but not dots at Semi-Pro. I do not have access to any other age ranges or I'd try more.

I tried using the mechanism so many different ways that something MUST be buggy. The fact that my OWN dots-available-to-offer-in-a-trade list varies simply by switching what team I pretend to offer a trade to tells me that something is amiss (the teams are within the same league).

Out of curiosity, from your team ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1898 ) which dots appear as available to trade?

That's part of the "bug"--the dots available depends upon which team I choose to explore a trade with!

The only constants seem to be the level 11 FB and LB.

I even went to the "Trading Block" area of the market place--the players there that are the CORRECT age range are NOT available in the pulldown menu when I pretend to begin submitting a trade.

Hmm...I was kinda hoping you'd say all dots under 40 days old. You're only trying to trade with Prep teams, correct?

Yet his name doesn't show when I click the "make offer" button--not a soul on that team shows, and only two of my players show up as available as well.

No dots available, even though I can click on individual profiles and there are not no-trades by some of the contract status items.

It "feels" like its related to age. All the dots on the teams you linked were 45 days old.

Any EXCEPT for the day 45 dots.

Don't take this the wrong way, but it sure would be nice if there was a forum where people can post potential bugs and other people can share their own experiences related to that potential bug....
