Well, yeah, if he's using a dot in his Free Player Slot, yeah, that dot gets free boosts, but that's any time of the season. There's no such thing as "free offseason boosts."

Bort allows me 3 free offseason boosts on every dot. The only consequence is I am not allowed to win a league title. That's why i keep losing in the 2nd round of the playoffs

I meant: when you start your new player in the off season, you can still boost in that season with your player starting at age 0 in the new season, so you have 3 'free' boost (cost you flex) but you start in your first season at age 0 with 3 boost left and level 4 allready, not?

You can start at level 4 and be the age of 0 upon the new season starting unless your in pee wee. Pee wee dots cannot boost to level 4 in the offseason as they have to start the season at level 1.

Ah, I get it now. You're talking about creating a dot on Day 48 of Season X, immediately boosting 3 times during Season X, and then when Season X rolls over to Season X+1 you have 3 more boosts available for the new season.

Alas, it's too late for that. We've already rolled over from Season 35 to Season 36, so it's too late to use your Season 35 boosts if you didn't use them already. Those are gone forever. Day 48 of Season 35 was your last chance, and that was on Tuesday 7/16.

It is worth mentioning that you don't lose out completely on those boosts if you get to the end of the dots days then you will be able to boost 6 times to still get to level 79. There are methods of building that this will certainly give you a better build overall. However, I am too lazy to figure that out... I don't really put work into this game.

You're talking about the Plateau boosts, though... those are a different animal from the 3 seasonal boosts you get every season.

Once a season ends, the boosts for that season are gone forever. If you made a dot towards the end of a season and don't boost before that season ends, it means you'll always be 2-3 levels behind everyone who did boost, and you won't be able to catch up until Plateau. You'll still get to Level 79 in the end, but until you hit Plateau, you'll always be behind everyone else.

I realize what I was talking about precisely. Thus the, "it is worth mentioning," portion.
